GMU ASCE offers several competition teams where you can apply your engineering knowledge in hands-on challenges.
Design, build, and race a canoe made entirely of concrete at the regional student symposium. This unique competition tests your skills in structural design, materials science, project management, and teamwork.
Construct a scaled steel bridge that must meet specific design constraints while being judged on construction speed, lightness, stiffness, and overall economy.
Develop innovative solutions to real-world environmental and sustainability challenges facing communities.
